Project brief/

Crepe paper, corsages and poodle skirts were in supply for this 50's prom inspired gala. After the theme was selected, the LDS team canvased the city for the perfect venue; a gymnasium reminiscent of something found in the musical Grease.

Lighting - The venue was lit in mint green and light pink with retro style stars illuminating walls.

Entertainment - Attendees were serenaded by doo wop group, Original Mixed Company for the first half of the evening. After a lively choreographed performance of  "Hand Jive" by dance troupe, Project Moshen, our DJ took over and played a mash up of nostalgic 50's tunes and dance favorites.

Decor Highlights - The focal point of the decor was a multi-colored streamer canopy (over 100 rolls!) that covered the mid-section of the gymnasium. A tissue honeycomb ball chandelier cascaded from the canopy's central point, The retro vibe was also brought in through custom signage, pendant sponsor signs, carnation centerpieces in sundae dishes, and backdrop area where couples could pose to get their prom photos.
